Punjab Kings (PBKS) spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has once again found himself in the spotlight – this time not for his bowling, but for his personal life. Fresh dating rumours have emerged linking him with television presenter and former Bigg Boss contestant Shefali Bagga after the two were spotted together in Mumbai.
Yuzvendra Chahal and Shefali Bagga spark dating buzz
The speculation began when Chahal and Bagga were seen leaving a film studio together.
Paparazzi videos quickly surfaced online, showing Chahal dressed in a dark blue zip-up jacket with a black corduroy collar over a gold-toned shirt, while sleeveless reddish-orange top paired with a high-waisted white skirt. Although they were not alone and were accompanied by others, the visuals were enough to spark widespread chatter across social media.

Who is Shefali Bagga?
Shefali Bagga is no stranger to the limelight. Starting her career as a journalist with the India Today Group, she worked as a news anchor for Aaj Tak and Tez before transitioning into entertainment and sports presenting.

She gained nationwide recognition after appearing on Bigg Boss 13 in 2019, which helped her build a strong fan base. Over the years, she has expanded her presence, hosting cricket-related shows and events, including the Legends Cricket Trophy 2024. She has also co-hosted the reality show Loventure on JioHotstar.
With over 5.3 million followers across social media platforms, Bagga has successfully reinvented herself as a modern-day presenter who blends journalism, entertainment and sports.

Shefali responds to the query of dating a cricketer
As speculation continued, Shefali Bagga chose to address the rumours in a composed manner during a conversation with Filmygyan. When asked about dating and whether she would consider a relationship with a cricketer, she shared her perspective candidly.
“I don’t know. Because it’s my profession. So I don’t want to complicate it by involving it in my personal life. I want things to remain simple. I have very good friends, but I don’t know.”
Her response suggested a clear boundary between her professional and personal life, even as public curiosity around her relationship status continues to grow.
Interestingly, she also acknowledged what fans often tell her, adding a light-hearted note:
“Yes, I also want to find my Virat soon.”
The reference to Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma reflects the kind of ideal relationship fans often associate with celebrities, but Shefali’s comments indicate she is in no rush to define anything publicly.
Meanwhile, Chahal remains focused on his cricketing commitments. Representing Punjab Kings in IPL 2026, the experienced leg-spinner continues to play a crucial role for his side. After being picked for ₹18 crore in the 2025 auction, he remains one of the most valued players in the league.
