After opting to bat first, India A Women posted a competitive 134/7 in 20 overs and then produced a disciplined bowling display to bundle out Bangladesh A Women for 88 in 19.1 overs.

The innings did not begin on a fluent note for India A Women. Nandini Kashyap struggled for rhythm and departed for 8 off 15 balls, while Vrinda Dinesh looked positive during her 19 off 17 deliveries, striking four boundaries before falling. Anushka Sharma also found it difficult to accelerate, scoring 8 from 12 balls, and Minnu Mani was dismissed for a first-ball duck, leaving India A Women under pressure in the middle overs.
